When the idea first came about to turn a side hobby into Rev Software I wasn’t sure that Revelstoke was really the place for this type of business, but what the heck its not like I was quitting my day job. Now several weeks into business and I can barely keep up with the demand. Rev Software currently has two projects on the go and is in discussions with another party. I am quickly becoming aware of  all of the work required to setup a small business and the software you need to keep your projects managed and your accounting in order. 

It has been a challenge for me to get on here and blog lately, but I promise I will try and get on here more often to keep all those people reading up to date. On that topic I have been thinking of taking this blog in a slightly different direction than I originally thought. So in addition to providing up to date information on technology, Revelstoke, and on the company I will also be blogging about setting up a small business, the steps I go through, the mistakes I make, and the things that work out really well. My hope is that by sharing my experiences, and hopefully hearing about yours, that we can all learn something new.
